odtwriter is a Python module capable of translating reStructuredText (reST) files into the OpenDocument Text (ODT) format. Applications able to handle the latter document format include the word processors from OpenOffice.org and KOffice, as well as AbiWord. python-odtwriter enhances the Docutils library by adding ODT support as a so-called writer. . The package also contains a small script, rst2odt, to do the conversion from the command line.
