MaxDB is a transactional, industrial-strength multi-user SQL database
system featuring views, db-procedures and db-functions. The MaxDB
homepage is at http://www.mysql.com/products/maxdb
.
This package contains the x_server as well as all release-independent
files for the latest MaxDB version. The x_server relays all incoming
network requests for MaxDB database instances.

The binaries provided in this package will also be able to work with
earlier versions of MaxDB.

You will also have to install an actual database server package like
maxdb-server-7.5.00.
